Back Story
Growing up, I struggled with feelings of insecurity and a lack of confidence. I often felt unsure about expressing myself, holding back instead of embracing who I truly was. Looking back, I realize how much that shaped my perspective on childhood and self-expression. When I set out to create Antooz, I thought about what I’d want every child to feel: freedom to express themselves, joy in the little moments, and a deep connection to the people who care for them most.
The Name That Warms Our Hearts
Antooz comes from a special piece of my childhood. As kids, my siblings and I had our own little world, filled with made-up words and inside jokes. ‘Antooz’ was what we used to call a hoodie—a cozy essential that brought us comfort and warmth. (I actually never knew it was called Zont, Za3bot, Cappuccio, or anyting other than Antooz, until I was 8) That word became more than just a name; it held memories of love, laughter, and the freedom to be ourselves. Today, Antooz carries that same spirit forward, transforming a simple hoodie into a symbol of joy, self-expression, and connection for kids and their families.
